Taking care of your body might seem obvious, yet we don’t spend enough time on its well-being. How much time a day do you actually spend looking after your body? In this article, you’ll learn why you should set aside at least 10 minutes a day to take care of yourself.
Human beings are designed to move, to be active, to express themselves physically. But think about how much time you spend sitting each day. How often do you repeat the same movements? How long are you stuck in the same position?
Sedentary behavior has a major impact on your body and your health. Unfortunately, modern lifestyles encourage this inactivity. Add daily stress to the mix, and your body ends up completely tense!
We want to be clear: no product or miracle treatment can fix this problem. Only a routine that includes proper hydration, quality sleep, and some “gentle” exercise will help. Follow FizzUp’s advice.
If you find yourself in one of these situations, take the initiative and take some time to move your body in a new way:
“Everything hurts”. “I feel broken”. Today it’s my knees, yesterday it was my back, what will it be tomorrow? Body aches can take many forms. Sometimes they stay in the same spot, other times they shift from day to day, leaving you far from feeling your best. So, where should you start? Which routine should you follow?
You can start with the area that’s causing the problem. Got a headache? Consider starting with your neck and head (don’t forget your face either). Back pain? Start with the area that’s actually hurting.
You can also start a weekly routine that goes through all the areas of your body:

Keep in mind that there’s no wrong routine when it comes to taking care of your body. Stay active. Your entire body needs to move. If it stays still, tension will build up. Don’t forget to stay properly hydrated, as a lack of water can increase your risk of injury during workouts.
Self-massage? It’s exactly what it sounds like: massaging yourself. While massage is often associated with the back, every part of your body can benefit. For example, the soles and balls of your feet (the metatarsals), as well as your neck and scalp, can be easily massaged to release tension. Thanks to FizzUp, you’ll also discover that caring for your ears can help release tension in the neck (stiffness, torticollis…).
Self-massage is suitable for everyone, young and old alike. This technique stimulates strategic points in the body (also known as energy points). By practicing self-massage, you help your body function at its best.
The benefits of self-massage are well established. Your body is a source of energy, and this energy flows within you. When this flow is disrupted, tension and blockages can develop. Used both to relieve pain and prevent injuries, self-massage is a practice worth including in your daily routine. Just 5 minutes can be enough. It’s also great for easing tension before sleep, helping you enjoy a restful, high-quality night.
Beyond its physical benefits, self-massage can help you find calm and serenity. If you spend your day in a noisy, busy environment, massaging any part of your body can help you reconnect with yourself and tune in to your body. You’ll feel more relaxed and at ease.
Mobility is essential for a healthy, well-functioning body. Keep in mind that if you don’t work on it regularly, it gradually decreases. You’ve probably noticed this if you’ve ever been immobilized for one reason or another. In those cases, a period of rehabilitation or recovery guided by a healthcare professional is necessary.

The same goes for everyday life. Even if you’re not confined to bed, your mobility can still decline. Can you fully extend your arms above your head, bringing your biceps close to your ears? Can you hold a squat or kneeling position comfortably?
Over time, your range of motion can shrink. Reduced mobility can lead to physical problems, such as aches or injuries. For example, performing a proper squat requires good ankle and hip mobility. The good news? Mobility can be improved with a consistent routine!
Mobility improves posture, relieves muscle pain and tension, and helps you stay in good shape. It also makes you more effective during strength or resistance training, letting you go deeper in a squat, for example, or achieve a greater range of motion safely. For exercises like the Arlaud movement, can you do it with your arms fully extended? The good news (again 🙂) is that mobility can be improved, and you don’t need any special equipment!
